As a coffee lover, this is a place I simply cannot pass by, and I make sure to visit whenever I get the chance. These days, various themed coffee shops are popping up, and some Korean coffee brands are even expanding into the U.S. Since I live in San Francisco, one of the meccas of coffee culture, I've always been drawn to vintage-style coffee shops like this. I loved the concept and decor of Document from the very beginning, and I especially enjoy their iced maple syrup latte. Highly recommended!

Definitely one of the better, if not the best, coffee experiences I've had. Document Coffee Bar, taking coffee to an artisanal coffee experience that most only read about on Reddit or coffee forums, Document actually makes it a reality and lets you sample and try what you only read about on internet threads. It's quite something else and I was extremely pleased with my carefully crafted pour over. As you watch your coffee being carefully made, first by measuring out the coffee, then by measuring the water, then by artfully pouring, you kind of get excited about watching what you're going to soon be enjoying. And the coffee? It was good. It was very, very good. While my wife's hojicha strawberry latte was quite good, the pastry was very tasty, the pour over offered at Document stole the show for me. Private parking lot in the back. Small coffee store with some seats, but very artistic and artisanal vibe, not a place to really get work done, but definitely possible. Great coffee. Shows me what I'm missing from my standard coffee brewed at home... :(

I love document's coffee. I've never been inside before now, as my boyfriend has always gone to pick up lattes for the both of us when we run out of coffee at home. I loved the modern yet cozy vibe they had going on inside. Both their latte and flat white are phenomenal. I can't wait to come back and try one of their pastries.

What a beautiful beautiful space. Big parking lot in the back of the coffee shop. Super clutch! Really really good coffee. Might not be the best space to study as the tables don't really look ergonomically meant for that. But I was able to sit there and read a book for an hour. A lot of people on a Sunday morning. Small wait but popular in the area. 10/10 would recommend. Love the local art on the wall.

Grateful that DOCUMENT COFFEE BAR is open so early on a Saturday morning. Another pro for coming early is that you can find parking on the street. They have a lot too with access to the rear of the shop, but I only found this when I went snooping around. And you should snoop around. They have a photography exhibit in their entire shop and it was beautiful. More than that, their espresso drinks are delicious. FLAT WHITE was super strong and creamy, chocolatey and not fruity. Their LATTE was the same -- but I liked the FLAT WHITE better coz the coffee flavor was stronger (for me. I was told it tasted the same). The MANGO SMOOTHIE was so filling. Hot Chocolate was rich and was at the perfect temperature for our kiddo.

Food/Drinks: 9/10 Service: 8/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Simple and good. Simply good. The americano and document latte were solid! And because of the wide space the cafe provides, it was a great place to catch up with a friend. There's less seating than the cafe looks like, but very worth it to try. Baristas know what they're doing.

The Doc will Hit your spot with the flavors they got that will knock your socks off! So let me tell ya what I got! I ordered the London In the Rain that came with earl grey mixed with pure cane sugar with oat milk because I'm lactose intolerant! LoL! Anywho, it was perfectly balanced and I wish I would've ordered a second one instead of a cold brew but since I need my fix I think not. The menu has unique flavors and I can't wait to go back so my tastebuds can explore a little more. The service was good and the space is big but feels empty. Unfortunately there is no mug service available but they brew a mean Kyoto and you can tell by their six towers behind the counter they don't play. And that's my take on it, Peace out.

Good morning LA This is so to called best coffee shop in Ktown. I've tried all the coffee shop in K town, this place has best coffee taste! First when you walked in, the fragrant coffee smoky smell would fill up your lung very satisfyingly! Unfortunately they don't have porcelain cup so I was gonna put 4 stars but hmmm! Coffee taste so decent!. I've ordered Document latte seems their signature one! Very savory and smoky taste not bitter not sour just right in the greatest umami zone. The baristas were all kind and seemed bilingual perfectly! Please shine on this grey town more brilliant! Thank you!
